Having a Hoot at the Zoo

We got to go to the zoo here in STL! Let me tell you this was one of the best zoos I’ve ever been to!! They had all the big animals that we would want to see and the exhibits, is that what you call where the animals live?, set up in a great way so that you can actually see the animals. Almost all the animals were out and having a blast!! I got to be so close to the penguins which was amazing, the hippos and polar bear were right against the glass! We spent 3 1/2-4 hours exploring this zoo and I feel like we could’ve still spent another hour at least. The only downfall was we didn’t feel that it was set up to walk around well so we got lost a few times but luckily Brittany had the map and was always checking! Ultimately a very fun day but we’re always so happy to come home to our little traveling zoo! So far this has been a very fun place to be living and it’ll get better when it starts to cool down again.
